Good morning, friends, I want to talk about how to grow your capacity mentally, physically and spiritually as you grow in your entrepreneurship and as you become a better leader and you have more responsibilities and opportunities, you will need to grow your capacity to handle the mental weight of new ideas, new team members and new things to learn. Here’s what I do. I like to focus my mental capacity, and I like to work on it by writing down the times of the day when I feel weak, when I feel overwhelmed. What that does is that gives me a to do list for the things to work on. Now, for me to grow my mental capacity and growth, I need to make sure that my mind does not stay stuck in overwhelm or despair. So here’s what I do to get out of that. I like to focus my mind on gratitude. When I start to feel that overwhelmed, it almost sounds too easy. But I swear to you it works. When I start to feel overwhelmed about a new team member and delegating, I start verbally just in my own office, saying, Thank you for this new team member. Thank you for the challenges that this is bringing me. Thank you that I get to learn how to become a better leader, and I change my mind that that focus helps me to recalibrate my mind on the potential of what’s in front of me and not the despair. I’ll talk to you tomorrow about how to grow your capacity in a physical sense.
